The Peluso P-47 SS brings the legendary tone of the vintage Neumann U 47 into the modern era with a clean, powerful solid-state FET design. Swapping the original tube stage for a low-noise FET circuit gives this mic ultra-fast transient response, lower self-noise, and the ability to handle extreme SPLs — all without sacrificing the bold, character-rich tone engineers love about the original 47.

Built around a center-terminated, dual-sided large diaphragm capsule, the P-47 SS offers switchable polar patterns (cardioid, omni, figure-eight) and gives you rich proximity effect perfect for vocals, kick drums, bass amps, and more. A switchable -10 dB / -20 dB pad and 75 Hz low-cut filter are right on the body, letting you tame low-end rumble or tame high-SPL sources like horns and guitar cabs without reaching for your preamp.

From delicate acoustic guitar to booming drums, this mic gives you flexibility, detail, and a balanced tonal character that feels both familiar and fresh.
